Additional fees and fine print

Everything we do is covered in our monthly fee. The only exceptions are:

  • Clients can self-print and distribute annual W-2 and 1099 forms for free, but we charge a small fee if you want us to print and mail them directly to workers for you.
  • We charge insufficient funds fees if you can’t cover the cost of a pay run.
  • You pay the premium of any health, retirement, or workers’ comp policies you choose to add on. Our pricing never includes any service fees.

  • What if I have a combination of W-2 and 1099 workers I need to pay?

Nonprofits are hiring a bigger mix of in-house employees and contract workers these days, so we’ll let you process all the workers you need to pay in the same pay run. We handle W-2 forms and 1099 filings at the end of the year. And if a worker goes a month without being paid through OnPay, you won’t be charged for them.
