Howard Winkler is an innovative leader, practitioner and writer in all areas of Human Capital Management, Ethics and Compliance. Over a forty-year career, he has integrated his experience in broadcast, written, and multi-media communications with business skills acquired from New York’s garment district to Big Energy. His HR specialties include talent management, employee relations, and workforce planning.

Now retired from Southern Company in Atlanta, Howard applies his skills to writing, consulting, and non-profit board service. He has chaired or served as a board member of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, the HR Certification Institute, the SHRM Foundation, and Trout Unlimited. He also serves as a founding board member of the Jewish Congregation of Blue Ridge, Georgia.
