Performance Marketing Manager – Full-Time

We’re looking for someone skilled and scrappy to help us build and scale our paid marketing channels and demand gen. We’ve got the best payroll software on the market and we need your help to establish a strong, ROI-driven foundation for our paid digital programs, as well as set the strategy as we experiment and expand into other direct response channels. This position will offer a lot of opportunity for personal and professional growth as our marketing efforts expand — and you’ll have all the resources you need at your disposal.


Core responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of CPC campaigns through AdWords, AdRoll, and bidding-based review sites like Capterra
  • Establishing and maintaining full-funnel conversion tracking and attribution for paid campaigns
  • Designing and running conversion optimization experiments and A/B tests
  • Identifying and prioritizing new channels and partners we can work with to reach bigger (or more targeted) audiences
  • Partnering cross-functionally with others on the marketing, sales, and product teams to execute multi-channel campaigns
  • Perhaps most importantly: Really getting to know our customers so you understand how to anticipate their needs

Preferred skills and experience:

  • A good mix of creative and analytical skills and aptitude
  • 4+ years running paid digital marketing programs, including both pulling the levers and reporting on performance
  • Managing campaigns on Google Ads, and a combination of Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Experience working in either an agency and/or a high growth/startup environment
  • Some exposure to B2B and/or SaaS funnels
  • Experience with A/B testing ads, landing pages, and other points in the funnel
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively on multi-media campaigns

Some additional skills that would give you a leg up on the competition:

  • Excel mastery, SQL, or other data science tools
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot
  • Great understanding of SEO
  • Seeing yourself as a growth hacker
  • Experience with display, direct mail, out of home, or other advertising and demand gen channels
  • The ability to spend 30 minutes poking around and see things we could be doing better
