Talent Acquisition Specialist - Full-time

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will facilitate and assist hiring managers with the recruitment process. They will source candidates, schedule phone screens, interviews, and inform candidates of employment possibilities. This role also provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including onboarding, new hire training, maintaining the employee files, and updating job descriptions.

 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Assist with the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, new hire training
  • Create and maintain the employee files
  • Assist with the review and development of job descriptions
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1-2 years related experience required.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
